Filmed in front of a live audience, this is the first episode of Tonight with Gerry Kelly, which will be aired over eight weeks on NVTV.
Gerry’s guests this week include Tim McGarry, Martin Lynch, Grimes & McKee, Alison Millar & The 4 Of Us.
Best known for The Kelly Show between 1998-2005, this new chat show in Belfast will see former UTV presenter Gerry Kelly team up with a dozen former UTV staffers and the next generation of broadcasting talent drawn from Belfast Metropolitan College students.
“What a joy it is to be back working with many of my former colleagues on this new weekly show that will be broadcast on NVTV. And what a delight it is, for us all, to be in a position to pass on our many years of broadcasting experience to the next generation of TV, radio and film makers,” Gerry commented on the new show.
Media students from Belfast Met e3 studios will gain hands on experience in all aspects of television production, from creating the opening credits to booking guests and editing the show.
