Over the pandemic, the benefits being in lockdown has had on the environment has been widely reported and as restrictions are starting to loosen, it’s key that we don’t lose sight of the doing what we can to reduce our carbon footprint.
However, it is not only our carbon footprint we need to be aware of but also our carbon paw-print given that new research has revealed that over half of dog owners don’t realise the impact their pet has on the environment and sustainability.
This is a concern as there are also impacts to the dogs health through the lack of knowledge into what our dogs are being fed, with a third of dog owners admitting they don’t even know what’s in the ingredients of their dog food.
