Kenya Community Project (66 minutes)

In 1995, Janet Wilson fulfilled her lifelong dream of traveling to Kenya. While delighting at the busy life of Nairobi city, she discovered another side of Kenya where large slums existed and social deprivation was rife. Along with colleague, Catherine Gleave, she founded the Kenya Community Project which has successfully organized sustainable initiatives in the region. Many members of the community in Kenya have benefited from the tireless work of Janet and Catherine, and the projects have grown ever since, with more and more people wanting to contribute. Thanks to the generosity of Northern Irish people, Janet is able to tell us about many of the heart-warming and inspiring success stories of the Kenya Community Project.
